Tampa Improv

The Tampa Improv is conveniently located in the Ybor City Historic District, next to Centro Ybor. The Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre has been the career launching pad for dozens of the familiar faces of television and film. David Spade, Bette Midler, Lily Tomlin, Robin Williams, Jonathan Winters, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, and Drew Carey all found their starts here. Today, the Improv continues to showcase performers well on their way to join the ranks of the Improv’s famous veterans.

Dress Code
The dress code is casual, no hats (we know you love the Rays and you look good in a fedora but please leave it at home) inside the showroom and that men do not wear sleeveless shirts (e.g. tank tops, jerseys, and cut-offs).

Seating
They seat on a first come first serve basis. The earlier you enter the show room, the closer you will be towards the stage. They typically seat 4 people per table. If you have a party of 2 and they are sold out, expect to sit with another couple. They do not offer preferred/reserved seating. Large groups should arrive early to assure the entire party will be seated together. They seat from the front of the room to the back, so if you would like to sit in a specific area of the showroom arrive accordingly.

All shows are 21 and older with valid ID unless specified.
